Schwortz Photograph of the Face 1978

Most researchers generally consider the Schwortz photographs superior to any other photographs taken of the Shroud. These photographs were taken in 1978 during the Shroud of Turin Research Project (STURP) examination of the Shroud. Barrie Schwortz was the official documenting photographer.

WHAT  WE KNOW IN 2005

  1. The Shroud of Turin is certainly much older than the now discredited radiocarbon date of 1260-1390. It is at least twice as old and it could be 2000 years old.  FACTS
